Since moving to Brighton 6 years ago I have built up a network of local film, TV and event security operatives and have assisted productions and location managers with scouting locations and setting up unit bases and parking options around Sussex. Living here has given me an insight into liaising with different councils and boroughs and assuring local residents and businesses when a film crew descends on them turning their street into how it would have looked in 1850, most of the public see the filming as a special event rather than a hindrance.
We offer trained Security and TM operatives who live locally and will save the production money on overnight accommodation, per diems and mileage from London. The Sussex team also can offer local knowledge as well as identifying regional security issues and risks, they all drive and can move with the crew from location to location.
Last year we provided local security for 2 major features, TV dramas, and commercials and can utilize last minute requests when schedules change and are familiar working with Sussex film services and venues. We have secured shoots from West Wittering to Camber Sands along the South Coast and iconic locations such as Arundel castle, the piers at Worthing, Brighton and Eastbourne and Seaford Head nature reserve.
